VG Scienta has a long tradition of building high performance electron spectrometers. The company's history in electron spectroscopy is based on our close affiliation with the Nobel prize-winning achievements at Uppsala University, and dates back to the early 1980s and the first available systems on the market.

The Scienta spectrometers are state-of-the-art instruments recognized for high performance and reliability in ESCA and ARPES applications, and with synchrotrons and VUV facilities. The quality is clearly seen by the impressive number of publications in high ranked scientific journals.
