R4000 with WAL lens
The Wide Angle Lens (WAL) features a 38 degree acceptance angle for high transmission measurement and fast ARPES bandmapping. It is offered in a variety of models ranging from high resolution ARPES to high transmission XPS. The wide angle lens allows ±15 degrees angle resolved electron spectroscopy.

With features as a 0.1 mm entrance slit and 1 eV pass energy the R4000WAL-0.1 spectrometer claims the best energy resolution on the market. This wide angle acceptance analyzer is fully equipped for XPS, UPS, and ARPES studies with lens tables for overview and high resolution angular and transmission modes. R4000 WAL upgrades
All R4000 WAL spectrometers are mechanically built for highest performance XPS/UPS/ARPES measurements. The XPS and UPS models may therefore become a state-of-the-art ARPES instrument by upgrading the high voltage electronics and software. This will extend the kinetic energy range, pass energy selection as well as the resolution of the analyzer. The upgrade will also allow the use of the highest dispersion angular modes. |
