R4000 HiPP
The VG Scienta HiPP (High Pressure PES) series includes a R4000 with extra differential pumping on the electron lens and a pre-lens set-up with active electron optics and efficient differential pumping. Also the analysis chamber is designed for optimal pumping in combination with the pre-lens. The combination of these three HiPP components allow PES measurements in up to 20 mbar ambient pressure.
R4000 Lens 1 XPS/UPS HiPP ANALYZER
Ambient/High pressure measurements are possible with the Scienta R4000 Lens 1 XPS/UPS HiPP analyzer. Like all R4000 spectrometers it is designed for high transmission XPS and UPS studies but it also features extra differential pumping possibilities in the lens. Kinetic energies from 5 eV – 1500 eV are measured with a large selection of slits and wide range of pass energies from 0.5-500. Guaranteed energy resolution <1.8 meV at 20 eV kinetic energy. HiPP pre-lens system for ambient pressure PES
The HiPP pre-lens is designed to work with the R4000 Lens 1 XPS/UPS HiPP analyzer to actively combine PES work at ambient pressure but still using large lens acceptance for highest intensity. The pre-lens electronics is integrated into the analyzer electronics. On to product page
Mu-metal shielded analysis chamber for HiPP
The analysis chamber mu-metal shield is integrated in the differential pumping system to allow for best possible conditions regarding PES. There are provisions made to use different aperture sizes towards the lens. The combination of the HiPP analysis chamber and the HiPP pre-lens set-up makes ambient pressure measurements up to 20 mbar feasible. On to product page |
