Other Products
Experimental instruments and equipment complementing the spectrometers, sources, and chambers are presented in this section. Examples are gas cells for high resolution gas phase studies and the charge neutralization flood gun.
FG300 Flood gun
Flood gun for charge neutralization of non-conducting samples during ESCA/XPS investigations. The flood gun spot size is optimized to match the entrance slits of the VG Scienta spectrometer and the spot size of the MX650 for maximum system performance and stability. On to product page
Bake-out jacket for R4000 analyzer
The VG Scienta bake-out jacket is custom designed for the R4000 analyzers. It is made from a soft material with embedded, shielded heater elements. The bake-out jacket provides safe and accurate baking at 150°C. If the temperature exceeds the pre-defined 150°C temperature value the heating is reduced. On to product page
Stainless steel frames
Support of the analytical instruments and of the chambers are offered by the VG Scienta Stainless steel frames. Frames are offered in a standard or adjustable model. On to product page
Gas Cell GC50 Gas Cell
The GC50 is a gas cell optimised for use with a VUV5000 photon source. The gas cell features 5 electrostatic correction electrodes compensating for potential differences along the photoelectron exit slit. The GC50 allows high resolution gas phase UPS measurements. At VG Scienta it is used for spectrometer performance tests. On to product page
Gas Cell GC4000 gas cell
The GC4000 gas cell is suitable for use gas phase studies using synchrotron or laser sources. The gas cell features 5 electrostatic correction electrodes compensating for potential differences along the photoelectron exit slit and allows high resolution gas phase measurements. The gas cell will be adapted to the customer’s chamber design. The GC4000 electrodes can be manually or computer controlled. On to product page |
