Mu-metal analysis chamber

A mu-metal analysis chamber based on the VG Scienta design provides excellent magnetic shielding for XPS and UPS measurements. All VG Scienta analysis chambers are designed in close collaboration with the customer to ensure user satisfaction and best possible performance in the experiment.

VG Scienta has a long tradition of system design and VG Scienta will therefore fully guarantee the performance of Scienta electron spectrometers in such an analysis chamber. A VG Scienta mu-metal analysis chamber has a guaranteed residual magnetic field lower than 0.3 microTesla.

Custom designed chamber based on the VG Scienta design. The chamber will be made of mu-metal (Flanges: AISI 316 LN). VG Scienta presents the chamber drawing in PDF-format. The chamber is delivered leak tested with protective covers will cover all open flanges.
