Gas Cell GC4000
The GC4000 gas cell is suitable for use gas phase studies using synchrotron or laser sources. The gas cell features 5 electrostatic correction electrodes compensating for potential differences along the photoelectron exit slit and allows high resolution gas phase measurements. The gas cell will be adapted to the customer’s chamber design. The GC4000 electrodes can be manually or computer controlled.
Specifications:
• 5 electrostatic correction electrodes for intensity and energy resolution optimization. • Maximum potential variation within the visible region is <1mV. • Each electrode is individually controlled. Manual operation. • Swagelok connection for gas inlet.
The GC4000 in the standard version has manual control of the correction electrodes. In a computer controlled version the five individually controlled potentials inside the gas cell are set via the HV-electronics rack and the potentials can be individually controlled and saved in the SES software. |
